Contemporary Tokyo will present Yoshiro Kawakami’s solo exhibition, "Embraced by Gentle Scorched Earth," from Saturday, March 15, to Saturday, April 5. This exhibition will primarily feature animation works. 

Artist’s Statement: "The wilderness along the riverbanks near Tokyo felt like a place where our emotions, as city dwellers, would accumulate. I envisioned us in that landscape and expressed it through animation."
