Contemporary Tokyo (Tokyo Space) is pleased to present "Dignity and Light", a solo exhibition by Machi Sugita from 14 Jan (Sat) to 4 Feb (Sat). Sugita was born in Saitama in Tokyo 2000 and graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2022 as a research student in the art course of the junior college.

Sugita's work is based on the theme of human-created 'light', and inspired by the landscape of Hong Kong, she creates works that combine light and signage, aiming to create 'triggers for thinking' about various social issues. This exhibition will feature 11 new works.
